Ethio-Africa Diaspora Union Millennium Council a.k.a. Rastafari Millennium Council filed a 7-paged demand letter to Snoop Lion. The rastafarians claim that Snoop Lion had lied about becoming a Rasta just to make a movie and sell records.

‘Beyonce Did NOT Sing Live’ – Reps Confirm Lip-Syncing At Obama Inauguration

A rep for Beyonce has confirmed that the US star singer did actually lip-sync and not perform live at the 2013 Inauguration Ceremony for US President Barrack Obama held on Wednesday, January 23.

Speaking with CNN, the rep said ‘She did not sing live’, adding that a pre-recording of her rendition of the National Anthem played instead.

The rep further revealed that it was Bey’s choice not to sing live but to lip-sync over a pre-recorded version of ‘The Star-Spangled Banner’ on Sunday night. The reason was because she had not had enough time to practice with the band.

‘Because she didn’t have time to rehearse with the Marine Band, she decided to use her recording with the Marine Band’, the unnamed rep told CNN…

Ice Prince and Chocolate City have premiered the star studded remix to his Hausa-influenced 2012 hit song ‘Aboki’.

The buzz around the remix grew when Ice Prince announced the artistes who’d make the song. There’s Ghanaian top rapper Sarkodie, pop star Wizkid, fellow labelmate M.I, SA rapper Khuli Chana and surprisingly Nollywood actress Mercy Johnson.

The actress’ fans should not raise their hopes that high as Johnson only drops a line in response to Sarkodie’s marriage proposal ‘Sarkodie I’m married‘, she says.

The song is however just as good as the original version with other artistes including Mr Panshak homself delivering very ‘tight’ verses.

Nigerian rapper cum fashion designer Yetunde Alabi better known as Sasha P says she has ended her one-year deal with telecom company Samsung Mobile as initially agreed but wasn’t dropped contrary to what is being reported in some quarters.

This morning, several online blogs began reporting that the Storm 360 recording artiste has been ‘dropped from as an ambassador’ from Samsung Mobile. But the rapper says she has no idea where the news came from as neither her management nor Samsung provided that information.

‘I had a one year contract with Samsung which we concluded last year according to the terms of our contract, while we continue to have a good working relationship I will not be the female mobile ambassador this year‘, Sasha told NET via email today.

But it seems she may have given away her own secret. On Monday, the “Skyfall” singer, who has been staying in Los Angeles during awards season, went shopping at a baby boutique on Monday with an interesting accessory – a shiny goldnameplate necklace with the name “Angelo.”

The Greek name Angelo means “messenger” – and is a variant of the name Angel.

“The 42-year-old fireworks maker from the central Chinese province of Hunan was photographed last weekend performing his signature trick: Suspending two water buckets with a combined weight of 9 pounds on plastic hangers hooked to his eyelids for a minute.

Wang says he is hoping to increase the amount of weight he can carry with his eyelids.
