Donald Trump is not a happy man right now.
With President Obama’s reelection all but certain last night, the billionaire blowhard and Mitt Romney supporter tweeted, “Well, back to the drawing board!”
Harmless enough ... but then he lost it.
“We can’t let this happen. We should march on Washington and stop this travesty,” he said.
“Our nation is totally divided! Lets fight like hell and stop this disgusting injustice! The world is laughing at us. This election is a total sham and a travesty. We are not a democracy!"
No?
Incredibly, he wasn't done yet, adding, “Our country is now in serious and unprecedented trouble… like never before. Our nation is a once great nation divided!
"The electoral college is a disaster for a democracy. Hopefully the House of Representatives can hold our country together for four more years."
He concluded with a plea: "Stay strong and never give up! House of Representatives shouldn’t give anything to Obama unless he terminates Obamacare.”
“This election is a total sham and a travesty. We are not a democracy!”
Trump's comments are somewhat baffling, even by his standards, given:
- Mitt Romney's concession speech, which was gracious, classy and thoughtful;
- Obama ended up winning the popular vote as well as the electoral college;
- He's lamenting divisiveness in America and advocating for more gridlock.
