Madonna, Lady Gaga, Rihanna – these ladies in the past (and not very far behind) have voluntarily exposed their bodies on several occasions without the fear of what their fans or critics think.
Nigerian beauty queen turned rapper Munachi Abii recently played down ‘Nude Street’, exposing practically her whole cleavage in some photos which recently hit the web.
The former MBGN queen who turned 25 on November 5, 2012 had received quite a number of congratulatory messages from fans and friends across the internet with others arguing whether she was indeed 25 or older. But attention was shifted to more pressing things as soon as the ‘revealing photos’ popped up.
Sure it was meant to look like a joke, but it apparently didn’t go down well with a lot of fans who expressed their disapproval for the semi-nude photos.
‘She shouldn’t have worn anything. Did anyone call this ‘Sexy’? I call it ‘Madness‘, an anonymous reader commented. ‘Its very tacky! plus where did she get the boobs from cos she has never been this endowed. its either she got a boob job (which i doubt) or she’s wearing a boomshell push up bra‘, another reader commented.
Muna isn’t bothered though, Re-posting the photos with a ‘Boobs of life‘ caption to go along with it.
The implications of a celeb posting semi-nude photos might not be that evident but will definitely have its consequences. With Rihanna’s rather obscene behaviour (posting nude photos and promoting the word ‘fuck’) on the internet, her being dropped from Body Care Nivea‘s ad campaign didn’t come as a surprise. Same thing goes for Lady Gaga and Madonna who have been banned from performing in Indonesia and Russia respectively.
And with big budget companies giving more detailed attention as to how celebrities behave by hiring social media experts to monitor websites, blogs and social networks like Facebook, Twitter andInstagram, some celebs are already getting blacklisted.
So Muna, word of advice, tuck in your boobs and cover them up nicely; you might just need those endorsements as you music career seems to be in a stationary position and doesn’t look like it’ll be moving anywhere soon
