Five months after disappearance…Two kids found dead inside neighbours car

Two decomposed bodies of two children between the ages of 4 and 3 have been discovered in an abandoned car in Ketu Area of Lagos. Daily Sun reliably gathered that a customer of a Micro Finance Bank, Ketu branch had instructed the bank to sell off his Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) with registration number JA 734 AEC as collateral to the debt he was owing the bank. The bank sent two of their staff, to go and bring the car at house number 20, Tanke Street, Ketu.


Daily Sun gathered further that when the bank staff opened the vehicle, they were greeted with offensive odour and on investigation, they discovered two decomposing bodies of two children suspected to be between the ages of four and three. A senior police officer that confirmed the story to Daily Sun said the police were trying to ascertain what actually transpired. He said the bodies had been taken to the hospital for autopsy to unravel the cause of their death. The Force was also investigating to know whether the dead bodies were those of two children earlier reported to had been kidnapped about five months ago.
He said through investigation, the Force would be able to know whether the children entered into the vehicle on their own and were not able to come out or that they had been murdered and dumped in the car by someone else. The police source said the owner of the car had been invited for questioning. When contacted the state police spokeswoman, Ngozi Braide said the case was being investigated.
